Introducing Viking Saturn: The Latest Jewel in Viking’s Award-Winning Ocean Fleet

June 7, 2023 By admin Leave a Comment

The Viking Saturn is the newest addition to Viking’s acclaimed ocean fleet, joining its identical sister ships, the Viking Star®, Viking Sea®, Viking Sky®, Viking Orion®, Viking Jupiter®, Viking Venus®, Viking Mars®, and Viking Neptune®. These ships have earned the reputation of “small ships” according to Cruise Critic, boasting a gross tonnage of 47,800 tons and accommodating 930 guests across 465 staterooms. Featuring Scandinavian design, all veranda staterooms, and a bright, airy ambiance, the Viking Saturn provides a delightful cruise experience with numerous outdoor dining options.

The launch of the Viking Saturn coincides with Viking’s ongoing celebration of its 25th anniversary and an exceptional month of bookings in January 2023, following a period of remarkable growth. Over the past few years, Viking has expanded its fleet significantly, introducing 17 new ships, including eight Viking Longships on European rivers, purpose-built vessels on the Mekong, Nile, and Mississippi rivers, four identical ocean ships, and two Polar Class expedition vessels.
