Collins Aerospace and Panasonic Avionics Unveil MAYA: The Future of Premium Air Travel

May 28, 2024 By admin Leave a Comment

RTX’s Collins Aerospace and Panasonic Avionics Corporation have introduced MAYA, a revolutionary business class suite designed for tech-savvy passengers. Revealed at the 2024 Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany, MAYA promises to enhance airline loyalty, passenger satisfaction, and profitability.

MAYA integrates Collins Aerospace’s design and technology expertise with Panasonic Avionics’ advanced entertainment systems. This suite redefines comfort and accessibility, featuring advanced seating with ARISE™ comfort technology that optimizes cushion pressure, regulates temperature, and minimizes vibration for improved passenger well-being. The highlight is a 45-inch ultra-wide OLED display with a headphone-less audio system, offering an immersive cinematic experience.

The suite syncs seamlessly with passenger devices via the ADAPT™ controller, allowing personalized control and supporting various accessibility needs. Built with sustainability in mind, MAYA uses recycled materials and STARLight™ composites to reduce waste and support modular upgrades.

MAYA suites are displayed at Panasonic Avionics and Collins Aerospace booths during the Aircraft Interiors Exhibition in Hamburg, from May 28-30. Collins Aerospace and Panasonic Avionics aim to set a new standard in business class air travel with this innovative offering.
