Princess Cruises Expands 2025-26 Japan & Southeast Asia Itineraries, Featuring New Voyages and Extended Stays

May 29, 2024 By admin Leave a Comment

Princess Cruises has announced an extended itinerary for its 2025-26 season in Japan and Southeast Asia, capitalizing on the surge of U.S. travelers to Japan. The cruise line’s Japan-built Diamond Princess will return to offer an expanded season that showcases Japan’s renowned fall foliage, iconic landmarks like Mt. Fuji, and historic cities such as Kyoto. The season, now on sale, includes 11 new voyages ranging from nine to 22 days, covering 25 destinations in Japan and stops in Korea and Taiwan.

Key highlights include a 13-day Circle Japan Fall Foliage sailing during the autumn leaves season, a 9-day Circle Japan voyage with stops in Nagasaki and Akita, a 9-day Southern Islands cruise to Okinawa and Ishigaki, and a 10-day Kyushu & Korea itinerary featuring Hiroshima and Osaka. For those seeking a more extensive exploration, guests can combine these itineraries into an 18- to 22-day adventure, culminating in a 40-day journey.

Following its Japan season, Diamond Princess will embark on a 12-day cruise from Japan to Singapore, featuring destinations such as Taipei and Hong Kong. This will kick off three roundtrip sailings from Singapore, including a 14-day cruise to Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, a 16-day voyage with a stop at Halong Bay, and a 14-day Southeast Asia & Japan sailing back to Tokyo, with extended stays in Hong Kong and Shimizu. Terry Thornton, chief commercial officer for Princess Cruises, emphasized the ease and richness of experiencing these destinations on the Diamond Princess, promising vibrant shore excursions and onboard regional culinary and entertainment offerings.
